A Royal Australian Air Force C-27J Spartan aircraft from No. 35 Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley will conduct training at Wondai and Kingaroy Airports on Monday 06 June 2022.
The size and performance of the C-27J allows it to operate into small airfields and park in areas where larger aircraft could not operate, or would be otherwise restricted in how they are operated.
The C-27J can also be used for aeromedical evacuation of wounded or sick patients, including injured civilians following a disaster.
