Up to five Royal Australian Air Force EA-18G Growler aircraft from 6 Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley will conduct a stopover at RAAF Base Townsville, en route to Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, USA.
The aircraft will transit across the Pacific Ocean, also stopping through Guam and Hawaii during the 12,000km journey.
Flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability.
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
