Flypast to honour coronation of the King and the Queen Consort - Canberra

Up to two F/A-18F Super Hornets from Number 1 Squadron (1SQN) and one EA-18G Growler aircraft from Number 6 Squadron (6SQN), and a formation of Heritage V12 aircraft and a Canberra Bomber from Number 100 Squadron (100SQN), will conduct low level flypasts over the Forecourt of Parliament House as a mark of respect for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and The Queen Consort.

Aircraft will travel overhead of the Australian War Memorial, along Anzac Avenue, to overhead of the Parliament House Forecourt.

All low-level flying activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.

Flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
