Air Force flypast for Battle of Crete memorial dedication service

Organised by the Greek Australian Returned and Services League, the memorial commemorates the courage, sacrifice and commitment of those who served and endured the Battle of Crete in May 1941. In particular, Australian service personnel with direct links to Western Australia and to the people of Crete, who risked their lives to assist our troops.

Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, flypasts and displays may be cancelled at short notice.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
