The Royal Australian Air Force is proud to participate in the Hunter Valley Air Show, to be held at Cessnock Airport, on the weekend of 8–9 February 2025. One F-35A Lightning II from No 2 Operational Conversion Unit and a No 100 Squadron heritage aircraft will conduct flypasts at the air show. Ground displays and the Air Force Band will be in attendance.
All flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellations due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and operational requirements.
Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities. Participating squadrons will operate with a view to minimising impact on local communities.
Imagery and video of ADF personnel and assets participating in the air show will be available post event at http://images.defence.gov.au/S20243793.
