Defence is proud to support Skyfire, in the Australian Capital Territory, on Saturday 15 March. A Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No. 3 Squadron at RAAF Base Williamtown will conduct a flying display in support of the event. Australia’s Federation Guard will be providing ceremonial support, and the Royal Military College Band will be in attendance.
All display practice activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.
Residents are advised this activity will be conducted on Saturday, 15 March 2025, at approximately 1930–1940.
The flying activity schedule is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control, weather and other aviation considerations.
Safety, noise management and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of Defence flying activities. Participating aircraft will operate with a view to minimising the impact on the local communities.
