The Australian Defence Force will conduct a Tri-Service formation flypast on Tuesday, 22 October 2024, in support of His Majesty the King’s visit to Australia.
The flypast will incorporate MH-60R “Romeo” and EC-135 helicopters from the Royal Australian Navy, UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the Australian Army, and an F/A-18F Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, and two F-35A Lightning IIs from the Royal Australian Air Force. The aircraft will fly across Sydney Harbour, travelling east to west, from HMAS Watson to Admiralty House. A rehearsal of this flypast will occur on Monday, 21 October in the same location.

Flying Display Supervisor, Squadron Leader Liam Klein, is available for interview before or after the event.
All flying activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.
Flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations.
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
