What to Expect at the RAAF Base Amberley Open Day 2024: Stands and Displays
The RAAF Base Amberley Open Day is ready to show you the full range of capabilities, equipment and personnel at Australia’s largest Air Force Base, on Saturday the 15th of June. There will be plenty of aircraft, ground support equipment, vehicles and interactive displays including the Bushmaster, G Wagon, the Panther Fire Tender and various aircraft types based at Amberley including the KC-30A, C-17A, F/A-18, C-27J and more.

Getting to the Event - To get the most out of your day please follow the directions and signage of traffic controllers outside and inside the Base. Entry is from the Hansen’s Road gate only (Contractor Pass Office - Google Maps). Staggering entry with morning and afternoon sessions is designed to minimise delays on the major highways surrounding the Base, but please be ready for traffic delays, due to large numbers of people accessing the event site.
How much time to allocate to the event
It is suggested to set aside at least 2-3 hours to see the displays you are interested in.
Parking
The event area has plenty of free public parking close to the event area, including mobility parking and a group bus / ride share drop off zone. Please follow the direction of traffic management to park in an allocated space. Please be aware there is no pedestrian or bicycle access to the event area.

OzTix will be able to check that you have registered for a ticket and can re-email them if necessary.
