RAAF Base Williamtown Air Combat Group units will resume training into Salt Ash Air Weapons Range (SAAWR) from Monday 27 January 2025.
Flying will commence with Number 76 Squadron aircraft operations beginning Tuesday 28 January 2025. Operations are scheduled on week days only, between 9am to 5pm.
Number 76 Squadron will also support Army for essential training from 24 to 28 March.
Number 4 Squadron PC-21s and Combat Controllers will utilise the range 14-17 April in support of Army training. PC-21 aircraft will conduct intermittent training on SAAWR including some night flying.
Every effort is made to minimise inconvenience to residents during SAAWR training. Residents are advised the range schedule can change at short notice due to weather or operational considerations.
