Opening hours
The RAAF Museum is open on Thursdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm.
Bookings are essential for all Museum attendees. Unregistered visitors and visitors over the age of 16 without verifiable photographic ID will not be permitted access to RAAF Base Point Cook.
Bookings are made through a third party website called Eventbrite. Before booking please review our Privacy Notice.

Group bookings
For groups of 10 people or more contact us by email.
Group bookings can be accommodated outside regular open days, subject to staff availability to support.

On arrival
RAAF Museum is located on a RAAF base. Visitors will need to comply with all entry requirements and any direction provided for safety and security purposes by authorised Base staff.
On arrival to RAAF Base Point Cook security gate, please present:
- Eventbrite reservation confirmation
- original physical issued photographic identification OR official Digital State Drivers Licence presented through the official app (photographs and screenshots are not accepted).
Photographic identification (original physical issued card/passport) and vehicle registration details must match the details on the booking reservation confirmation.
After clearance by base security staff, visitors will be directed to drive to the RAAF Museum carpark. The carpark is located approximately 400m down the entry road on the right-hand side and clearly marked. RAAF Museum staff will be located at parking sites and throughout the precinct.
Note: There is no public transport to RAAF Base Point Cook. If visitors arrive by car ride service (such as taxi), travel to the museum will need to be on foot from the security gate entrance.
RAAF Base Point Cook is a heritage-listed site. Please expect rough pathways and uneven ground inside and outside the museum. Care should be taken at all times while on the base.
Entry conditions
Please follow all instructions from RAAF Base Point Cook security staff and RAAF Museum staff during your visit.
Pets, alcohol and firearms are prohibited on base.
Registered assistance dogs are permitted.
No food or drink (apart from water in sealable bottles) is permitted in RAAF Museum buildings.
Photography is only permitted inside RAAF Museum buildings.
