The regional Heritage Centre displays are designed to professionally display aircraft and exhibits that highlight the rich history of the Air Force, and celebrate links between the base and the local community.
Heritage centres contain an exciting collection of artefacts, such as:
- retired aircraft
- uniforms
- vehicles
- photographic displays
- ground equipment
- personal records.
RAAF Heritage Centres are managed by a committee of Air Force and community members. They are staffed by volunteers from the local community, some of whom are current or retired Air Force members.
